On the afternoon of December 8th 2002, Koichi Tanaka gave his Nobel Lecture
on the subject of "The Origin of Macromolecule Ionization by Laser
Irradiation" at the Aula Magna lecture Hall of Stockholm University.
This Nobel Lecture will be published in
the "Les Prix Nobel 2002" by the Nobel Foundation in the autumn
of 2003 after being rewritten as a formal paper, and it is scheduled
to be concurrently available on the Nobel Foundation's website for public
perusal. Further, the copyrights of this lecture and the formal paper
are attributed to the Nobel Foundation.
