About Shimadzu

1.Shimadzu corporation will donate 50 million yen to help the relief effort in the affected area.

2.Shimadzu corporation will donate 10 machines of the latest radiographic mobile x-ray system "MobileDaRt Evolution" and "MobileArt Evolution" to support medical activities in the affected area.

Shimadzu corporation is also raising money from 14th to 18th March among
its employees and board members.

Shimadzu would like to express its deepest condolences to the victims of
the earthquake and tsunami in the Tohoku region of Japan. We sincerely
wish for a rapid recovery for those in the affected areas.
