COA-3030 Continuous Emission Monitor of CO and O2 for Incinerators

The generation of dioxins, which when emitted from industrial incinerators present a serious social problem, is closely related to the state of combustion in the incinerator and the emission gas treatment method. Maintaining stable, complete combustion is an important factor in reducing the production of dioxins. It is therefore compulsory in Japan to monitor the carbon monoxide (CO), produced as a result of incomplete combustion, in the emission gas as an indicator of complete combustion.
Shimadzu used its extensive experience and advanced technical expertise to develop the COA-3030 Continuous Emission Monitor of CO and O2 for Incinerators. It fully complies with the Japanese guidelines to prevent the emission of dioxins (January 1997) and with the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Wastes Disposal and Public Cleansing Act (December 1997).
