Fumonisin (Mycotoxin) in Maize
Fumonisin, a mycotoxin that belongs to the Fusarium family, is known to cause leukoencephalomalacia in horses and pulmonary edema in pigs. In recent years, it has been implicated in esophageal cancer in humans. The diagram shows the analysis of fumonisin in maize by pre-labeling fluorescence derivatization using OPA and thiol reagents.
High-Performance Liquid Chromatograph
The autosampler with pretreatment functions automates the pre-labeling fluorescence derivatization work to achieve selective, sensitive and precise measurements.
