Certified “Eco-Products Plus” Models are Smaller, More Energy Efficient, or Offer Other Superior Environmental Performance

To protect the environment, measures to improve the environment-friendliness of products are also important. Therefore, Shimadzu offers “Eco-Products Plus” certified products that achieve an exceptionally high environmental performance. Specifically, “Eco-Products Plus” models are certified by Shimadzu to achieve at least a 25 % reduction in power consumption, size, and/or consumables usage compared to the previous model. So far, that has resulted in the creation of over 110 energy and resource-efficient models since 2010. As a result, customers can reduce their CO₂ emissions by simply replacing their existing models with “Eco-Products Plus” models.
