BioMEMS Glass Plates
Thanks to capillary processing techniques based on MEMS technology, 384 flow channels and reservoirs have been aggregated on a single large-scale glass plate. This glass plate corresponds to a conventional capillary array cassette. Since samples can be applied directly to the reservoirs, only minute quantities of sample (up to 5 µL) are now required. In addition, unlike conventional capillary arrays which have a polyimide coating, the plate features a flat uncoated surface, which means excellent thermal characteristics during migration.

Dramatic improvements in processing capability
A single unit can achieve a reading capacity of 4Mbp per day at QV20. Furthermore, reading lengths of 800bp can be achieved at QV30 with a standard sample. The system is also capable of 24 hour automated operation. Run analyses with a prepared set determined each morning!
Optimized migration chemistry
P3e series polymer buffer, optimized especially for DeNOVA. The glass plate requires only minute sample quantities. Minute quantities of samples are loaded without evaporation loss.
