
This is the most basic and easiest to use cooling system. The LTC-50 easily replaces the normal DSC cell cover. For the lowest temperatures, liquid nitrogen can be used as the refrigerant, while dry ice and ethanol can be used for general sub-ambient work. The LTC-50 holds approximately 0.2L of coolant.
The TAC-50D is a completely automated cooling system upgrade allowing a standard DSC-50 to perform controlled cooling runs at rates of up to -10℃/min.
The TAC-50D consumes low levels of LN2 because of the indirect cooling method used.
Connection to the TA-50WSI enables fully automatic programmed cooling according to a preset temperature profile.
The DSC-50Q can easily quench cool samples at rates of 500℃/min. This capability is useful for the heat treatment of polymers.
The temperature range of the DSC-50Q runs from -150℃ to 725℃.
The versatile control module allows for quench cooling, economy mode, and autostop mode. Manual control mode is a simple, one touch operation.
