A 3D-QCA Workstation That is an Asset for Treatment Strategies

Shimadzu offers a new software product to both analyze the degree of coronary stenosis and support PCI. By applying distinctive lgorithms, 3D images of blood vessels are obtained by combining 2D acquisition of cine images. Thanks to its 3D visualization of stenosis, this software is extremely effective for successful device selection and treatment. Treatment strategies can be resolved by the examination of bent section lengths, bifurcation angles and optimum fluoroscopy angles, all limited aspects of conventional 2D cine images.
