HGJ Series
Horizontal Hard Type Balancing Machine (Two-Plane)
 |
Ideal for measuring two-plane unbalance in medium to large workpieces.
Shimadzu HGJ series dynamic balancing machines are joint-driven balancing machines with extremely strong bearings, used to detect centrifugal forces directly. Therefore, the HGJ series is able to measure workpieces with large initial unbalances or workpieces that are extremely heavy.
[Features]
 |
Designed for medium to large workpieces. |
 |
Simply enter workpiece dimensions and setup is finished. |
 |
Rigid bearings allow even workpieces with large initial unbalances to be measured safely. |
 |
Workpieces are rotated by joint-drive. |
 |
Series includes a range of models for measuring workpieces, weighing from a few kilograms to a several dozen tons. |
[Specifications] |

[Typical Applications]

Medium to large rotating parts, tires, crankshafts, large rotors,
fans, turbines, pumps, automotive parts, and rotating parts in general.
| (1) |
Standard machines include one standard bearing.
Cost estimates for special bearings are available on request. |
| (2) |
The minimal achievable residual unbalance will
vary with the workpiece weight and the test speed. Refer to
the attached sensitivity diagram for details. |
| (3) |
The valid interval is the distance from the
joint end to the far stand. |
| (4) |
Sensitivity at 1,800 rpm |
