SGF Series
Horizontal Soft Type Balancing Machine (Two-Plane)
 |
Ideal for precisely measuring two-plane unbalances in small workpieces.
Shimadzu SGF series dynamic balancing machines offer outstanding precision, reliability and ease of use. They are used widely on production lines to balance small rotating parts. This high performance series offers a level higher sensitivity than the SGB series, allowing highly precise balancing in two planes and making them ideal for ultra-precision high-speed rotating workpieces.
[Features]
 |
High-sensitivity designed for small workpieces. |
 |
Capable of balancing workpieces from 0.01 kg
to 100 kg (series includes six models for different weight requirements). |
 |
Sensitivity is calibrated using actual workpieces,
resulting in extremely small error levels at full-scale and
highly precise plane separation. |
 |
Moving coil pickups ensure high signal-to-noise
ratios. |

[Typical Applications]

Turbochargers, AC servo motors, high-speed spindles, gyroscopes, blower/sirocco
fans, automotive parts, and rotating parts in general
| (1) |
Standard machines include one standard bearing. Cost estimates for special bearings are available on request. |
| (2) |
The minimal achievable residual unbalance will vary with the workpiece weight and the test speed. Refer to the attached sensitivity diagram for details. |
| (3) |
Depending on the form and weight of the workpiece, the test speed may be increased beyond the specified range. |
| (4) |
Drive systems other than upward-tangential drive systems are available on request. |
