This simulation provides a comparison of the CO2 emission reductions and the reductions in power consumption and other running costs between Shimadzu’s new model and the model that you are currently using.

The instrument is assumed to have the standard configuration of a GC-MS unit, foreline pump*, AOC-20i/30i, and a PC. It is also assumed that when not being used for analysis, it enters standby mode, with the vacuum pump running.
