Recycle Preparative System

Recycle preparative work is a method of preparative purification that improves separation by re-introducing the solution eluted from the column back into the column repeatedly. It can be used for preparative purification of a wide range of compounds including functional molecules and organic natural products. The LC-20AR semi-preparative recycle system and the LC-20AP large-scale preparative recycle system can accommodate recycle preparative purification across a wide range of synthetic scales, from semi-preparative analysis to large-scale, laboratory-scale preparation.

Supports the preparative purification process from analysis to ordinary

It is possible to perform recycle startpoint investigations, recycle endpoint investigations, and automatic preparative starts, all without the need to consider difficult settings. Recycle start and endpoint valve switching is automatically set, so even people with little experience with preparative work can perform the operations, with absolutely no need to consider complex time programs.

High separation and purification and cost reductions from recycling

With recycle preparative work, the sample is re-introduced to the column repeatedly, so it is possible to accommodate the separation and purification of compounds that are ordinarily difficult to separate. In addition, there is no need to connect a number of columns in series, so it is possible to control the cost of columns, and reduce the consumption of the solvent utilized as the mobile phase.

Special Recycle-Assist software enables simple recycle preparative operations

With Recycle-Assist, a graphical user interface has been adopted, and the actual work-flow from the investigation of recycle preparative conditions to purification can be followed with simple operations. This makes, complex operational training unnecessary, enabling even synthetic chemists with only limited experience using HPLC to perform recycle preparative work easily.

This is the standard system for large-scale recycle preparative work!


  • Equipped with a manual injector, this recycle system utilizes a large-scale preparative column with a maximum flow rate of 150 mL/min, and an internal diameter of about 50 mm.

  • If the elution quantity is 100 mL or more, recycle effectiveness will be demonstrated even with a semi-preparative column with an internal diameter of about 20 mm.

This is a fully automatic system for large-scale recycle preparative work!


  • Utilizing a large-scale preparative column with a maximum flow rate of 150 mL/min, and an internal diameter of about 50 mm, this fully automatic recycle system capable of separation and purification with excellent cost effectiveness.

  • If the elution quantity is 100 mL or more, recycle effectiveness will be demonstrated even with a semi-preparative column with an internal diameter of about 20 mm.
