Internal Observations of Pills
Drug pills come in a variety of shapes and structures (including multilayered structures). Internal cracks formed during the manufacturing process can cause a pill to chip. Internal observations offer data to improve the shape, formulation, and manufacturing process of pills.
This is an example of internal observation of a pill by an X-ray CT system.
This X-ray CT system fits on a desktop. It is ideal for non-destructive inspections and internal structural observations of samples such as drugs, biological samples, and bones.
Simply mount and position the sample and immediately start CT imaging. A flat panel detector (FPD) makes it simple to take exceptionally clear, even, distortion-free tomographic images.
