Analysis of Ceramics

In this application note, Ceramic powder isanalyzed for a wide elemental range.Elements present in a Ceramic are oftenpresent in the form of oxides. Various oxidesin ceramics are measured in two ways. Thefirst, a standardless approach, usesfundamental parameters to provide elementalcontent. The second approach, purelyempirical, creates a calibration line based onthe intensity emitted from each element for anumber of standards.
