Lead in lead-free solder - EDX-720

The EU directives WEEEand RoHS as well as theElektroG (German Electricaland Electronic EquipmentAct) regulation issued by the GermanFederal Government governthe return of used electrical andelectronic equipment, their re-useor their recycling. These regulationsalso include a ban on hazardoussubstances including theelements lead, cadmium, chromium(VI) and mercury as well aspolybrominated biphenyls andpolybrominated diphenylethers(flame retardant in plastics) in themanufacture of electrical and electronicequipment.
