Profiling of Japanese Green Tea Metabolites by GC-MS
Metabolites from nine varieties of high-gradeJapanese green tea leaves which had been ranked ina tea competition were extracted and analyzed byGC-MS. Multivariate data analysis was applied tothe GC/MS results; the compounds characterizingthe rankings could be verified using a score plot andloading plot.Moreover, a model for predicting rankings wascreated using PLS regression analysis.
