Automated Analysis of Acute Kidney Injury using the MALDI-8020 Benchtop Linear MALDI-TOF MS with SampleStation™ & AuraSolution™ Software
Methods for screening and early detection of acute kidney injury (AKI) in higher risk patients are of great interest to healthcare providers to allow earlier medical intervention, leading to a reduction in costs associated with providing additional care for patients who go on to develop complications as a result of AKI.
Using our new automated analysis software (SampleStation and AuraSolution), we demonstrate how the MALDI-8020 can be used to analyse urine samples from patients at risk of AKI, using a MALDI-based method developed by researchers at the University of Glasgow.
