High Speed Analysis of Indometacin in accordance with chapter 621 in USP 39

High throughput analysis has progressed dramatically in recent years with the increasing need to improve productivity and operational efficiency. In particular, HPLC has attracted attention due to the remarkable progress in ultrafast analytical techniques, especially in ultra-high performance LC and microparticle column packing materials. In the recently revised United States Pharmacopoeia, Chapter 621, (USP 621), some adjustments can now be made to the following. The HPLC and GC parameters are specifically intended to meet system compatibility requirements.
In view of USP 621, the news of the present application introduces an example of a gradient-free analysis of indomethacin single crystals in accordance with USP, which still meets acceptable adjustment criteria. Indomethacin is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. It is an analgesic and antipyretic. Here is an example of an analysis that can be completed much faster than the analysis described in USP General Chapter 621.
