Shimadzu has developed the “Prominence UFLC High-Speed Method DevelopmentSystem,” a high-speed system for automated solvent switching specifically designedto enable selection of eluent and optimize separation conditions under ultra-highspeed conditions using an ultra-high speed analytical column. The resulting ultrahighspeed analytical conditions accommodate conventional analytical conditionswith a standard analytical column. This system will prove useful in applications suchas the inter-departmental transfer of analytical methods during the drugdevelopment process, or when conventional analytical conditions are required atthe analysis method application stage of the process.
