Preparative LC is widely used as a technique for separation and purification of a target compound from a mixture. Identification of the target compound peak and confirmation of fraction purity are extremely time-consuming, and automation of these processes can be expected to shorten the total working time for purification process.
This article introduces a high throughput analysis conducted for simple fractionation using MS triggers and purity confirmation using an analytical/preparative LC-MS system, which is one configuration of the Nexera Prep brand.
