Analysis of Perchlorate in Tap Water Using a Triple Quadrupole LC/MS/MS

At the present in 2018, perchlorate is designated as an Item for Further Study in the water quality standards of Japan and the criterion is 0.025 mg/L. Concerning the analysis of perchlorate, Application News No. C85 introduced an example analysis using an ion exchange column on a single quadrupole LC/MS.
This article introduces an example analysis using the same analytical conditions but by employing a triple quadrupole LC/MS. In addition, an analysis using a reversed-phase column is introduced as well.
