LCMS Bioanalysis of Antibody Drugs Using Fabselective Proteolysis "nSMOL Method" - Part 6
- Improvement of Reaction Conditions for Automated Analyses -

nSMOL is a new bioanalysis technology developed by Shimadzu Corporation. This method enables selective proteolysis of the Fab region of monoclonal antibodies. The nSMOL Antibody BA Kit comprises the reagents and protocols necessary for bioanalyses using nSMOL method. This article introduces that nSMOL proteolysis under the static condition can reproduce high-sensitivity quantitative performance and reaction efficiency equivalent to nSMOL by conventional constant shaking. This simplified protocol is expected to allow nSMOL to be easily applied to 96-well based multiple sample preparation and automation.
