Simultaneous Analysis of Remdesivir and Metabolites in Human Plasma

Remdesivir (Brand Name: Veklury) is a prodrug developed by Gilead Science Inc. (The U.S.) for the treatment of Ebola hemorrhagic fever. It shows antiviral activity against single-stranded RNA virus and is known to be metabolized in vivo to activated GS -441524.
In this report, we have constructed an analytical system that enables simultaneous measurement of Remdesivir and its metabolites using LC-MS/MS, which is a highly selective analytical method.
