N-terminal Amino Acid Sequencing of Mouse IgG Using the PPSQ™-51A/53A Gradient System

In proteome analysis, to analyze amino acid sequences of species of living organism for which no database has been established, it is effective to use protein sequencing by the Edman degradation as a complementary approach, rather than using mass spectrometry (MS) analysis alone. In this case, however, sensitivity is lacking with conventional protein sequencing systems.
As a solution to this issue, this article introduces an example of amino acid sequencing using mouse monoclonal antibodies with a PPSQ-50A Gradient System, which is capable of high sensitivity.
