Fluorescence Discrimination Analysis of Powdered Beverages Using Reflection-Type Fiber

Three-dimensional spectrometry and multivariate analysis of powder samples were carried out using a Shimadzu RF-6000 spectrofluorophotometer and a reflection-type fiber measurement unit. Use of the reflection-type fiber measurement unit enabled measurement of samples set outside the sample compartment of the RF-6000. By using multivariate analysis, it was possible to classify aojiru (vegetable drink made from green leafy vegetables), matcha (powdered green tea), and green tea, and it was also possible to classify the aojiru samples by raw materials.
