Creep Test of Rubber Materials (JIS K 6273, ISO 2285)

A creep test of rubber material conforming to JIS K 6273, ISO 2285 was conducted with a Shimadzu Autograph AGX-V Precision Universal Testing Machine. Because soft rubber materials deform easily in a creep test, a large drop in test force is observed at the start of test force holding with conventional devices. The Autograph AGX-V used in this experiment provides higher test force holding performance than conventional devices, and thus enables creep tests of rubber materials as specified in standards.
