Hardness Test of Plastic Materials (ISO/TS 19278:2019)

ISO/TS 19278 was issued in 2019 as a technique for measurement of the indentation hardness HIT of plastics. Until now, there were various problems in hardness measurements of plastics due to the creep property, recovery, and other characteristics of plastic materials. The plastic hardness analyzer (Dynamic Ultra Micro Hardness Tester for plastics DUH-210) enables ISO/TS 19278:2019-compliant evaluation of the hardness of plastics at a low force without influence by an underlying base material.
