Evaluating Optical Properties of Diamonds and Natural Gemstones
Use of the SolidSpec-3700DUV enabled measurement of the peak at 451 nm which is the difference between natural and synthetic diamonds. The SolidSpec-3700DUV also enabled mapping of the difference in the color of the gemstones using measured color values. Measurement of the infrared spectra of quartz using IRSpirit allowed observation of the presence of impurities.
