LiDAR Evaluation System: Measurement of Transmittance of Bandpass Filters

LiDAR, a type of optical sensor technology, has attracted attention recently as a technology for use in self-driving automobiles. Evaluation of a wide range of optical properties of LiDAR-related materials is possible by utilizing the ultraviolet-visible-near infrared (UV-VIS-NIR) spectrophotometer. The measurement wavelength can be selected considering the laser wavelength used in the LiDAR system, and simple evaluation of angular dependence when the angle of the incident light is changed is also possible by using a variable angle absolute reflectance measurement unit.
