Quantitative Analysis of Calcium Compounds by Rietveld Method - Phase Identification by Match!3 and Rietveld Analysis by FullProf -
The Rietveld method is a crystal structure analysis technique that enables analysis of the crystal structures of both single-component and multi-component samples as well as quantitative analysis without use of a calibration curve. This article introduces a case of phase identification by the Rietveld analysis program Match!3 (Crystal Impact GbR), and crystal structure analysis and quantitative analysis by FullProf, using a multi-component sample of a calcium compound prepared by adding calcium carbonate to hydroxyapatite, which is known as the main component of teeth and bones.
