Abstract

The “Autograph X-V Retrofit” precision universal testing machine partial update kit has been developed. Replacing the controller of a long-used testing machine with the latest model enables a variety of up-to-date functions, and reduces the risk of the testing machine becoming unrepairable due to parts being discontinued or difficult to obtain. In addition, since only the controller is updated and the main body frame which has the largest environmental impact is reused, CO2 emissions during the product life cycle can be greatly reduced compared with the case where the entire testing machine is updated, and a reduction in global environmental impact can be achieved.
