High Speed Analysis of Pesticides Listed in Appendix Method 20-2 for the Complementary Items for Water Quality Management in Japan Using a Triple Quadrupole LC/MS/MS
On March 28, 2018, a notification issued by the Director of the Water Supply Division, MHLW in Japan stated partial revisions to inspection methods for the Complementary Items for water quality management in Japan's water quality standards. Accordingly, the applicable pesticides listed in Appendix Method 20-2, which describes simultaneous analysis using LCMS, was increased by 113 pesticides and now a total of 181 pesticides are listed. Excluding the 29 pesticides for which the method is referential, this article introduces the results of a high speed analysis of 152 of the pesticides.
