Observation of Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cell (HUVEC)

Observation of Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cell (HUVEC)

These are examples of observation in air (left) and in a culture medium (right). The surface of the cell in the culture medium is smooth but it can be seen how holes have opened up in the cell in air, how the cell has been damaged by drying, and how the nucleus of the cell has risen. (A petri-dish type solution cell was used.)
