Example of the observation of hydrophilic polymers
Hydrophilic polymers were observed in air and in solution. In air (left), the sample has dried, and the surface shape has collapsed. However, in solution (right), the sample has swollen as a result of the peripheral moisture, and the formation of significant protuberances is observed. (Q control system application)
