Observation of Realtime Observation of Nickel Surface Change
The scene of a nickel surface being made to react against gas was continuously visualized in realtime. When a reduction cleaned surface (left) is spattered with carbon monoxide, a configuration change due to the formation of carbonyl complex is visualized (right). (Using gas spray unit and STM head)
