—Sustainably Improve Profitability by Strengthening End-to-End Solutions Capabilities—

Shimadzu Corporation has formulated a new three-year medium-term management plan starting in FY 2026. Under the basic policy of “Become an Innovative Company That Solves Social Issues with Global Partners—Sustainably Improve Profitability by Strengthening End-to-End Solutions Capabilities—,” we will accelerate our business transformation toward a customer-in* model. The plan sets management targets for FY 2028, its final year, of net sales of 680.0 billion yen and operating income of 100.0 billion yen, with longer-term goal of achieving 1 trillion yen in net sales by FY 2035.

To enhance the value we provide to customers, Shimadzu will introduce high value-added products, primarily analytical and measuring instruments, in the life science and clinical markets, while also strengthening its recurring revenue businesses, including services and consumables. For global expansion, we will focus on the North American and Indian markets. In addition, in the growing semiconductor market, we will provide end-to-end solutions based on our vacuum and measurement technologies. To support the execution of these strategies, we will further strengthen our management foundation by advancing AIX (AI transformation) initiatives. Through these efforts, we aim to enhance customer value and achieve sustainable improvement in profitability.
