February 13, 2026 | News & Notices Release of Transmission Gratings Suitable for Compact Spectrometers with Transmissive Optical Systems
On Feburary 13th, Shimadzu has released the Transmission Grating suitable for a spectrometer with transmissive optical system.
The Transmission Grating is a replica grating produced from a master grating manufactured using Shimadzu’s proprietary holographic exposure and etching technologies, which the company has long specialized in. This enables you to deliver the products with consistently stable quality. The grating is of the 0° incidence type, so it is easy to assemble and contributes to the downsizing of transmission-optics spectrometers.
We offer five standard groove densities: 100 lines/mm, 150 lines/mm, 200 lines/mm, 300 lines/mm, and 600 lines/mm. Customization is available for substrate materials, AR coatings, outer dimensions, and other specifications to meet customers’ requirements.
