Saigo made her mark in the final event of the season, competing against the top 60 players. Ranked 9th, she qualified for the tournament for the second consecutive year. Although she had a slow start on the first day, she improved her score significantly in the following rounds. On the final day, she showcased her skills with five birdies and one bogey, completing the tournament with an impressive rally.
In 2025, she achieved her long-time goal of winning her first major title while competing on American soil. This year has solidified her presence on the world’s premier stage. We genuinely hope to see her continue to build on this success in the upcoming season, aiming for her second tour victory and perhaps multiple wins as she pursues her goals in the sport.

From the first day, Saigo showcased resilient golf, putting herself in a position to compete for the top spots as the final day approached. However, after a double bogey on the second hole, there was a brief moment of concern. But this is where she truly shines. With unwavering focus and precise shots, she created numerous opportunities, finishing with seven birdies, including four in a row (-5).Ultimately, she finished tied for 11th as the top Japanese player, with a total score of 11 under par.

In the semifinals and the third-place match, they fought valiantly, showcasing their unwavering spirit and determination throughout the tournament. Although they ultimately finished in a commendable fourth place, they left a strong impression on the global women's golf scene. On the second day of the tournament, Saigo recorded her first-ever albatross on the 3rd hole, hitting an impressive 7-wood from 214 yards for her second shot.
