  Tied for Nineteenth at the CME Group Tour Championship (-11), Ending the 2025 Season Ranked Eleventh in Points

  

  Saigo made her mark in the final event of the season, competing against the top 60 players. Ranked 9th, she qualified for the tournament for the second consecutive year. Although she had a slow start on the first day, she improved her score significantly in the following rounds. On the final day, she showcased her skills with five birdies and one bogey, completing the tournament with an impressive rally.
  In 2025, she achieved her long-time goal of winning her first major title while competing on American soil. This year has solidified her presence on the world’s premier stage. We genuinely hope to see her continue to build on this success in the upcoming season, aiming for her second tour victory and perhaps multiple wins as she pursues her goals in the sport.

  Tied for Eleventh at the ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican (-11)

  

  From the first day, Saigo showcased resilient golf, putting herself in a position to compete for the top spots as the final day approached. However, after a double bogey on the second hole, there was a brief moment of concern. But this is where she truly shines. With unwavering focus and precise shots, she created numerous opportunities, finishing with seven birdies, including four in a row (-5).Ultimately, she finished tied for 11th as the top Japanese player, with a total score of 11 under par.
  The final event of the season is just around the corner next week. We are cheering for her as she aims for an even higher finish in her second year!

  Fourth place at the Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown 2025

  

  The Japan team, featuring three major champions including Saigo, competed fiercely in the international team competition. Despite facing tough opponents during the qualifying rounds, they showcased their precision shots and resilient play, successfully advancing to the semifinals. They captivated the world with their impressive teamwork in this different team format.
  In the semifinals and the third-place match, they fought valiantly, showcasing their unwavering spirit and determination throughout the tournament. Although they ultimately finished in a commendable fourth place, they left a strong impression on the global women's golf scene. Saigo and her teammates displayed their trademark never-give-up attitude, proving that the Japanese team is a formidable force in the sport.

  Third Place Finish at the CPKC Women's Open in Canada (-11)

  

  On the final day of the tournament, Saigo began in a strong position, tied for seventh place. The front nine was challenging as she struggled to improve her score, managing to stay at even par. However, once she began the back nine, she shifted gears dramatically! She stepped up her game, delivering a series of precise shots that led to five birdies in just the second half of her round. She ultimately secured a third-place finish, marking her sixth top-10 result of the year. It was a remarkable performance that highlighted her strength and composure as a major champion!

  Tied for Eleventh at the Season's Final Major, the AIG Women's Open (-3)

  

  This tournament took place on a Links course, known for its strong coastal winds and deep bunkers. Saigo started strong, tying for 4th place after the first round. Although she faced some challenges on the second day, she responded well by shooting an impressive score of 68 in the third round. On the final day, despite making a bogey early in the strong wind, she displayed remarkable resilience by bouncing back, ultimately finishing at even par. Throughout the demanding conditions unique to the Links course, she demonstrated a strong determination to keep fighting until the very end!

  Achieves First Albatross!
  Ties for Fifth at the ShopRite LPGA Classic (-10)

  

  On the second day of the tournament, Saigo recorded her first-ever albatross on the 3rd hole, hitting an impressive 7-wood from 214 yards for her second shot. This remarkable feat showcases her steadfast dedication to precision in her game. Building on this momentum, she fired a stellar 65, moving into contention just one stroke off the lead.
  While the final day proved to be a challenge for Saigo, her consecutive top-5 finishes in two tournaments highlight her exceptional performance and hint that her second tour victory could be just around the corner!

  Ties for Fourth at the U.S. Women's Open (-4), Her Second Major of the Season

  

  After clinching her first major title at the Chevron Championship, she set her sights on back-to-back victories at the U.S. Women's Open, the premier major in women's golf. In challenging conditions, she delivered an impressive 6-under 66 in the second round, taking the lead and showcasing her undeniable presence on the course. Despite facing fierce competition, she ultimately finished tied for fourth place.   After finishing tied for the top at the end of the third day, the final day saw a dramatic showdown with five players all tied at 7 under par. In the first hole of the playoff, she was the only one to make a birdie, achieving her first victory on the U.S. tour with a major championship win.

  Saigo competed in the only match play tournament on the U.S. women's tour, marking her first appearance in this event. In the qualifying group stage, she achieved a remarkable victory in the playoff, securing the only spot for a Japanese player in the final tournament. She finished tied for 9th place, marking her second top 10 finish of the season.
