Shimadzu South Africa (SSA) Exhibits at Africa's Largest Analytical Instrument Exhibition

SHIMADZU SOUTH AFRICA (PTY) LTD (SSA) exhibited atLabAfrica 2025, held in Midrand, South Africa from July 8 to 10. LabAfrica is the largest analytical instruments exhibition in Africa, held biennially. This year, 138 exhibitors from 12 countries participated, and the event attracted approximately 7,800 visitors from over 20 countries.
SSA showcased its products at a two-story booth. The first floor featured analytical instruments such as LC-MS, GC-MS, and ICP-MS. With demand for measurements increasing in the mining industry in Africa, the EDX" ALTRACE "for measuring inorganic elements attracted attention. SSA also exhibited concept models of LC and GC to commemorate Shimadzu’s 150th anniversary, incorporating designs from traditional Kyoto crafts. A business meeting space was set up on the second floor, where coffee and tea were offered to guests. At this exhibition, the booths of SSA's related businesses, including SGLC, Shimadzu Diagnostics Corporation, and local distributors, were arranged adjacent to the main SSA booth, creating a cohesive and unified layout. It allowed us to catch up with existing customers and meet new prospective customers in an environment conducive for networking and doing business. SSA provides sales and support services for Analytical and Measuring Instruments to customers in South Africa and 18 neighboring countries. Headquarted in Johannesburg, the company has a team of 28 members. |
