Full support of technically demanding interventions

RSM-DSA(option) is a new form of DSA packaged together with SHIMADZU's high-speed digital image processing technologies. The hallmark achievement of this kind of DSA is that it is extremely well equipped at dealing with movement because, without the need for a mask run, it alternately and simultaneously acquires frequency processed mask images and live images and then performs subtraction.

High angular resolution imaging is now possible thanks to high speed C-arm rotation and 1024 matrix, 12-bit imaging that thoroughly depicts lesions even in areas where blood flow is fast like those in Cerebral Rotation DSA(option).
Loading AngioSpeed VF/VC with software enabling the user to rotate the C-arm at any given timing means that the C-arm can be rotated upon confirmation of contrast media reaching the intended region, which makes Rotational DSA(option) imaging extremely effective in clinical situations. 3D reconstruction workstation(option) is also available for a further upgrade path.

Meticulously low-dose designing and reduction of contrast media

While, on the one hand, interventional therapy is on the increase, the issue of reducing the radiation dose received by patient and doctor during operations has become a big one. With AngioSpeed VF/VC, there is a trade-off relationship in which low radiation dosing and image quality improvements are achieved with better balance via a variety of functions such as Built-in multi beam hardening filters, Pulsed fluoroscopy mode, Fluoro power optimizer, and Dose saving zoom.
Furthermore SHIMADZU's unique acquisition mode, Comfort View allows for maximum opacification and visualization of the vessels in peripheral vascular imaging with minimal volumes of contrast media. CO2 DSA is also helpful to those who may have difficulties with contrast media.

The only way whole-body examinations can be accomplished without placing a burden on the patient in an examination room with numerous restrictions is to provide wide coverage with just the machine moving. Intuitive C-arm operation

The speeded up C-arm moves smoothly across the various rotating angles required in contrast examinations, which in turn greatly enhances safety because smoother examination and therapy alleviate the burden placed on the patient
Also CyberGrip offers intuitive control of all C-arm movements in the examination room such as source to input distance, field of view, application settings and tabletop vertical movement while C-arm speed can be controlled according to amount of grip movement. Moreover, the compact design takes into consideration the need for bedside work.
