Automatic analysis recovery by detecting pressure fluctuations – a new feature of the solvent delivery pump, LC-40

Automatic analysis recovery by detecting pressure fluctuations

One issue commonly encountered in HPLC analysis is air bubbles in the flow line. This can cause shifts in retention times, pulsating baselines, and unexpected changes in peak shapes.

The Nexera LC-40 solvent delivery unit has an “Auto-diagnostic and Auto-recovery function” that automatically pauses the analysis, purges the flow path, and restarts the analysis once the pressure has returned to normal. In this poster, we introduce these functions and how they work.
