Equally Spaced Straight-groove Small Curvature Diffraction Grating

On June 13th, Shimadzu has released the Equally Spaced Straight-groove Small Curvature Diffraction Grating. The short focal length of this grating makes it suitable for miniaturization of the spectrometers.

The optical mount can be freely designed on the Roland circle, allowing it to be used in both monochromators and polychromators. There are two types of groove shapes available: holographic (HG) and blazed holographic (BHG), which can be selected based on the application.

The gratings are produced with stable quality by precisely replicating from master gratings made using a holographic exposure method that results in low stray light. This allows for accurate spectroscopic analysis.

The substrate material, external dimensions, coating, and so on, can be customized to provide a product that meets the needs of the customer.
