Shimadzu Booth: Celebration of 150th Anniversary

Shimadzu showcased 150th anniversary exhibits in a more spacious booth than last year.

Appeal of Special 150th Anniversary Exhibits
A special exhibit titled “Craftech” featured concept models of a liquid chromatograph and gas chromatograph, positioned at the front of the booth, drawing visitors’ attention. Their beauty and originality sparked conversations with visitors.

In addition, a photo booth for taking instant photos with a “GEN-san” mascot, based on the motif of Shimadzu founder Genzo Shimadzu, was also provided. The photos were immediately printed and presented to visitors as souvenirs. Also, messages and signatures provided by customers were posted on a message wall.

The exhibit created a sense of fun and togetherness, offering a special space to experience Shimadzu’s history with technology and customers—perfect for the 150th anniversary.

The photo booth, our special 150th anniversary concept models, and the Craftech exhibit were big highlights and received great feedback—showing the strong trust and connection people have with our brand.
