Absolute Total Reflectance Spectra of Very Small Objects using the ISR-2600Plus Integrating Sphere

Introduction

Often reflectance spectra of very small samples are required. Typical sphere openings and sampling accessories are designed for samples in the 25mm X 25mm range with maximum thicknesses of 1 cm. Consequently, correct positioning of such samples to acquire accurate spectra can be very challenging. This application note demonstrates an easy-to- fabricate holder that is suitable for many small samples. In addition, it shows the measurement of absolute total reflectance using this sample holder.
