Introduction

The effort to provide a stable supply of good tasting, safe water continues day and night, but the sudden appearance of oils, harmful substances, and highly contaminated matters due to accidents and alike at upstream can still pose problems. Abnormal water arriving at the water inlet can greatly hinder the water, processing system at the water purification plant; moreover, the work of sustaining good quality drinking Water becomes harder. Using an online water analyzer to regularly and continuously monitor water inflowing to a water inlet greatly aids the avoidance oil the above problems. Here, we would like to introduce an example of continuous monitoring of TOC (total organic carbon) using a Shimadzu online TOC analyzer.
