The method specifies isocratic conditions using a Shim-pack Scepter™ C18-120 metal-free column and a methanol and 0.01 mol/L ammonium as the mobile phase. It can separate three types of mercury compounds: divalent mercury, methylmercury, and ethylmercury.
LC-ICP-MS
The ICPMS-2040/2050 can be combined with the Nexera inert series or the Prominence inert analysis system to form an LC-ICP-MS system.

This method is for gradient elution using an anion exchange column, 0.025 mol/L ammonium dihydrogen phosphate solution as mobile phase A, and water as mobile phase B. It can separate arsenocholine (AsC), arsenobetaine (AsB), arsenic trioxide (As3+), dimethylarsinic acid (DMA), monomethylarsonic acid (MMA), and arsenic (As5+) forms of arsenic.

New Video: ICPMS-2040/2050 ProActive Rinsing
ProActive Rinsing can shorten the analysis time by sharting the rinsing sequence in advance. While measuring multiple samples, the rinsing sequence can be started early by sending the autosampler probe to rinse while collecting data using sample already in the suction line. This greatly reduces measurement time and conserves sample.
