The compact Brevis GC-2050, with a system width of 350 mm including the autoinjector (AOC™-30i), enables even more efficient use of laboratory space. Compared to the same configuration of the Nexis GC-2030, the system width has been reduced by approximately 35 %. Despite its compact design, the instrument can accommodate two industry-standard 7-inch capillary columns, and it also supports dual-line simultaneous analysis as well as seamless switching between AOC and HS-20 analysis.

El GC-2050 está equipado con una función (Easy sTop) que reduce de forma automática la temperatura de entrada del GC y simplifica la sustitución del revestimiento (consumible) con solo pulsar el botón MAINT. situado en la parte superior derecha del panel frontal del GC. También se puede operar desde la ventana Empower, lo que ayuda a garantizar un flujo de trabajo cómodo en el laboratorio.
Nota: La operación Easy sTop de Empower puede utilizarse tanto con el GC-2030 como con el GC-2050.
