Ideal for measuring two-plane imbalances in medium to large workpieces.

Shimadzu HBG/HTB series dynamic balancing machines are belt-driven balancing machines with extremely strong bearings, used to detect centrifugal forces directly. Therefore, the HBG/HTB series is able to measure workpieces with large initial unbalance or workpieces that are extremely heavy.

Typical Applications

Medium to large rotating parts, tires, crankshafts, large rotors, pumps, compressors, automotive parts, and rotating parts in general.

  1. Standard machines include one standard bearing. Cost estimates for special bearings are available on request.
  2. The minimal achievable residual unbalance will vary with the workpiece weight and the test speed. Refer to the attached sensitivity diagram for details.
  3. Sensitivity at 3,600 rpm (With HGB/HTB-100K or higher, 1,800 rpm)
