Meat alternatives are food made with alternative ingredients as a substitute for beef, chicken, pork, and other animal meat products. Many are made with soy and other plant proteins. The widespread consumption of meat alternatives can help solve global warming due to greenhouse gases and the food supply crisis caused by population growth.
Evaluation of the Deliciousness of Meat Alternatives
In recent years, “meat alternatives” that articially reproduces the texture, avor, and appearance of meat has been developed. There are two types of meat alternatives: “plant-based meat (PBM),” which is made mainly from vegetable proteins such as soybeans, peas and mushrooms, and “cultured meat,” which is made by culturing stem cells from animals such as cattle. Greenhouse Gas (GHG)

High Resolution Analysis of Gases Related to Air Pollution and Global Warming
The IRXross, a new FTIR which Shimadzu Corporation recently released, has best-in-class sensitivity and resolution in its class and supports high speed scanning at a maximum of 20 spectra/sec. Greenhouse Gas & CCUS
Technologies to separate, recover, and reuse CO2 (CCS or CCUS) are being studied as a countermeasure to carbon emissions and global warming. CO2 recovery methods include chemical absorption, physical absorption, membrane separation, etc. The most appropriate method is selected depending on CO2 concentration, pressure, and emission source properties.
Among these methods, various studies are being conducted globally on the chemical absorption method using amine solution, which binds strongly to CO2 through chemical reaction, since it has the advantage of being applicable to low partial pressure CO2 such as combustion exhaust gas due to its high reactivity.

Cellulose Nanofibers (CNF)
Cellulose nanofibers (CNFs) have attractive physical characteristics, such as being lightweight, strong, and hard.
