Introduction

We examined the applicability of the modified notched compression interlaminar shear test method, which is effective for obtaining the interlaminar shear properties of thermoplastic CFRP, to GFRP plain woven materials, which are widely used in industry. A CAE analysis model was created based on the results of mesoscale structure observation by X-ray CT, and homogenization analysis was carried out focusing on the constraint conditions of the test specimen from the viewpoint of friction coefficient. The measured values and the analysis results showed good agreement.
